That's mahogany. I have the ONE PIECE top over stupid light swamp ash brother to that coming. Anyone at the Reunion may have seen the body sitting on Mike's bench. I think it weighed 1/4 pound!

Mahogany?? With quilt like that? WOW!! Freakin' gorgeous! Or perhaps it's a maple top--still absolutely beautiful! Cool pickguard too.

Yep..when the wood is that nice.. you have to give it a smaller pickguard.. and that guard is cool also.. truly a great guitar......
