This is my Robin. It came from the House of Guitars and was due in for a "tune-up" in August of 1987. I think it was purchased early in that year. Seven piece top (giver or take a piece) in Gretsch Orange. All original except for an early Duncan I took out of an Erlewine guitar and a killer neck pick-up I borrowed from a re-fin neck-repair 1966 ES-335. Nice guitar, I think this will allow you to have a basic membership!!!

You will need to get many many more Robins before too long!

You mentioned Erlewine, would that be Dan or Mark? I had a Mark Erlewine guitar that I bought at a pawnshop for $100.00....

It was an Erlewine Automatic that I sold a few years back. It was exactly like Billy's including the Have Mercy inlay. The guy that bought it didn't want the pickup. He had some double white pickup made in the 50's called a PFA or something like that! One of the great guitars that got away.

Why do I miss guitars that got away and not the women that got away? Answer: Once you pay for a guitar, all you have to buy is strings!
