24 hour auction that ended at 1:30 am central time. Advertised as new(only played 5 times)for a 1997/98. I believe it but that was part of the problem. I believe it sat in its case for about 7 years. Everything was tarnished, the bezels were broke. I think it even had the original strings that were starting to rust the frets. The seller had little guitar related knowledge and did not notice these things. I got some money back, bought new hardware and polished her as good as I could. The pickup covers are the only thing I am still not happy with. The color is unique to say the least and the finish was flawless. It really pops out in a crowd. I had the #2 and 3 bidders try to buy it from me for the exact same reason.....their wife! It's ok for a guy to own a pink guitar....isn't it?

I think I bought a bass from the same sellar that same night, though it needed a setup it did have all those issues! I think I lucked out- once it as setup it is great, here is a picture. http://robinlovers.com/discus/messages/6/3859.jpg

Thanks! I didn't need it either but I was with you. It was just too pretty to pass up- especially at that price. I figured it would give me the encouragment to play a little bass and sure enough it has. I think it is an exceptionally great looking bass, and now that it is setup, great playing too.

That was the same seller. Very very nice woman but didn't know a guitar from a bass. The instruments were her exhusbands and just sat for years. Over all I would do it over in a second. Wood and finishes are much harder to fix than tarnished items so I was still happy.
