Yes, I made the pickguards. Dave's gonna kill me, but that's what I wanted. This started after I played a 57 Esquire and fell in love with it. Since I am a huge Robin fan, I begged and cajoled and whined until Dave agreed to make me this run of 5, but only if I promised not to ask for any more. They arrive without guards and I make up my version of an Esquire guard here. At present, all are spoken for.

It was an honor to finally play with the Grumpy Guys on saturday. Stevie, maybe we can do dueling Etypes some time... Well maybe when the power issue is solved... lol.... My Robin has very quickly become one of my favorite guitars, I just like the sheer simplicity of it, nothing overly fancy, except the flamey neck, and it has some major sustain.

I can't wait for the others to arrive, a close buddy of mine, Johnny, is getting one too and he nearly crapped himself when he saw mine.

My final question is "Is it October yet?!?!?!?"
