Hey im not sure this is the right place to enter this but. Im thinking of buying a Medley IV i found on the internet. I've done my googling but haven't grown any wiser so i thought i'd check with the specialists. I've got a picture of it here http://files.annonsdirekt.se/annonsdirekt/4810732/FullSize_4810732_14RobinMedley Mini.JPG (http://files.annonsdirekt.se/annonsdirekt/4810732/FullSize_4810732_14RobinMedleyMini.JPG)
Can any tell me if thats the standard bridge and if this model was built by any other brand than ESP and in any other countries. It would be intresting to hear your personal thoughts about theese guitars and what you think they're worth.

That is the cobalt blue Medley selled on Blocket in Sweden right? I think it was from Blekinge. I would say it is worth around 3.000 sek and that is of course lover than the guy wants for it now.
The problem for him is that Robin as a guitar brand is totally off in Sweden and for that reason, the price tag comes with it.
As you can see if you check out Vendolin where he also has posted it, he has tried to sell it for quite some time, so there might be good room for bargaining...
As for the guitar and the color, it looks early 90s. As a matter of fact, there was exactly a Robin like that sold in Skellefteå in northern Sweden during those years and I think the price tag for is being new was around 8.500 sek back then.
In case you are wondering, 3.000 sek = 436.97 USD and 8.500 = 1238.09 USD.

Yes Lars you are correct thanks for replying. I mailed the guy last week but he didn't reply so perhaps its already sold. It seemed nice though and i would have loved to try it. How do theese Robins measure up with todays ESPs?

Sebastian,
I personally don´t like ESP, so I would not compare, but that´s just me. Robin are really nice guitars and really good quality. Pretty playable and good tone too, but of course depending on what sound you like and are after.
If you like me live in Southern Sweden and look for something special in the same range as ESP I would check out Mayones.

Great value top-notch guitars. They are sold throgh Equippo in Sweden and they are selling out the 2006 models right now for very good prices, some 30% under their std pricing.

Best of luck anyway.
