Robin Ranger Doubleneck Guitar and Bass

I've had this guitar/bass for awhile, but don't really know much about it. If anyone could identify it for type, year, etc I would apreciate it. I has Robin Ranger Series with gold letters on the headstocks, SN is 10801.

Yes, I have the original case for it, it's so big you could land aircraft on it. Did Robin produce these as an off the shelf item or would it be a special order?
