Think I'll give you guys first crack at this.

I'm having a Savoy Classic built for me & I
can't really afford both.

I definately won't sell this cheap unless Smitty
has some extra high quality slightly chewed
bubble gum under his desk there....

It's an awesome guitar still in Brand New Condition.
Swamp Ash.

Asking $1750

I know I'm going to regret selling it but I need the money.

Hi Chuck...Moe offered me the guiter for $1600 shipped to Dallas before he put it on EBAY. He was very pushy so i balked on the deal, I would be willing to do the deal with you via paypal since you seem like a much nicer guy http://robinlovers.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif

Hi,
That works for me. I actually Paid Moe $1625 for it. I honestly don't care for Moe myself. He was pretty rude with me about the whole transaction. I don't have a Paypal account though. I can take Bidpay but I think the amount's over my limit. I tried to accept bidpay for a rickenbacker a while back & the transaction was over the limit... but I've sold some stuff with them since then... I've still never accepted a payment this high through them.
I do have a 100% feedback rating on Ebay...
The guitar is still in absolutely perfect condition... case & all... Although I did send in the warranty card to Dave.
I'll take $1600 including shipping as long as you're domestic... from what I understand that's about dealer cost or even less... although I'm really not sure.
You can call me on the phone if you like.

Ok Joel,
I'll give you the 2 day trial as long as you reimberse me my initial shipping costs like we agreed.

I want you to know I'm not a music store. This is my personal guitar. Please don't call me in two weeks & tell me it's not for you. I really am only selling this because I need the money & it'll all be spent in short order!! Having said that man the thing's cool... heh heh

Anyway ..the reason I generally go by Chucksguitarshop is that when I was single I averaged about 25 guitars in various stages of construction all over my 1 bedroom apartment... in the john... the kitchen ... the patio... in my BED!! (freaks my wife out still ... I AM CORNHOLIO!!!) heh heh... I had a drill press in my kitchen set up as a buffer & there was a ring of buffing paist around the whole room ... all over my PRS private stock calander photo's!!! Now that's a cardinal SIN!

Say... When's the ROBIN Calander comming out there DAVE? http://robinlovers.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif

I'm sure you'll dig this guitar.
It is exceptional.
Thanks again

Chuck,
After I told my wife about this killer guitar I was buying she, broke down and told me she'd been saving for my "ulitmate guitar", a Johnny Gibson signature for Christmas. I feel awful about backing out but I have been wanting a Johnny A ever since they came out. Best of luck selling this awesome axe, somebody's going to get a great deal!

Ok... Joel backed out at the last minue...
Says his wife is going to buy him a
Gibson Johnny A model..

Cool guitar & hey ... If the wife's buyin I'm
flyin heh heh..

So it's still for sale if anybody wants to stay
resonable & I'd really rather not do the 2 day trial
thing... I'm not a music store... & the guitar's
Just plain AWESOME.

I just want to make something clear to everyone
familiar with this awesome guitar or otherwise.

The ONLY reason it's for sale is that I
had hernia surgery 3 weeks ago. I just saw
the surgion this morning & he said 'm doing
just fine but that I cannot go back to
work for another 3 weeks & even then on light
duty which is darn near impossible since
I do construction work.

I'm self emplyed so when I miss work I
don't get paid & there's no means of
compensation for this down time. I'm having to
cover all of my bills for July & August out
of my savings.

Not to make a sad song & dance out of this but
man I would not sell this guitar under any
other circumstances.

On top of all that I had just committed to Junior
& Dave to have them build me a New Savoy
Classic. I put $1300 down ... thank God it
won't be done for a few months!!!

So uh... here's your chance.

If it doesn't go now it'll be from my rotting
corpse that you'll have another crack at it...

I also refuse to sell it cheap. I'll BBQ my
neighbors dog first...

;-)

Why take it out on the neighbor's dog?

I only brought it up because a couple people had
followed this guitar.

They had asked why I'd sell it so soon after
buying it.

I just want it clear that I have too much tied up
in guitars... particularly Robin's lately
under the circumstances... It's a very
special guitar.

But money comes & money goes ... get it for this
price while you can ... what are your
chances of seeing another one?

Know what?

Screw it...

It ain't for sale.

man I psyched myself out..

LOL

Think I'll go pet the neighbor's dog ...

Hey Chuck, you know what Dave and I always say... most of us don't actually own guitars, we just rent them....

<grin>

Hey Chuck,
I will say a few prayers for your safe and quick return to health. You will be blessed with many electric 6 string robins in the future. We are all pullin for ya ;-)

Hey Thanks Johnny. Thing's are going just fine.

Funny Smitty ... Guitars are just like the women
in my life until I met my wife...
I sure did rent my fare share ...

It's amazing though when you finally settle down
you think how much money you'll save on your extra curricular activities...
But... these Robin's like my wife
are the most expensive Evil's I ever conspired with!

One time I told my wife just how much she was
costing me per session... the good thing for
me is that she's from Indonesia & didn't
speak English very well at the time.. ;-)

Think I'll keep her & these guitars around for a
long time... I pulled the Custom & my wife
both off off Ebay ...

You can't let the good one's go... They don't
come around very often in life...

... if ever.

They're worth every penny.
