She's up she's down
She's up
Get it while it's hot...
If my Steve Hackett Les Paul
goes first this auction will
probably be pulled
I haven't had the heart to follow
through with selling it in the past
That was then
This is now
Snag it before I change my mind ... again

I don't normally write to this forum, but I do read it faithfully. I currently don't own any Robin's, but previously owned 2 Savoy's, 1 Avalon, and 1 Ranger and would buy another Savoy or Avalon. (Jeff S. has one of my Savoy's).
Why would anyone want a Savoy with a Bigsby? Am I missing something?
Not knocking this guitar, but it can't find a happy owner.
What gives?
This forum needs new input and not just from the good old guys.

Hey,
Woa there Cowboy...
http://robinlovers.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif
I love Bigsby's...
My selling this has nothing to do with the Bigsby
It has to do with cash ...
I'm personally not crazy about the rotary switch ...
If it had a slide Strat style switch it would not be on the auction block ever.
In terms of tone this thing is awesome
& the Bigsby is great
for all sorts of vibrato work
I never cared for the rotary switch
on the PRS guitars I've owned either
The Bigsby works great...
I prefer heavier strings (or flatwounds)
on my Bigsby loaded guitars
When you have a Bigsby Dialed in
& wank on it regularly to avoid kinking
it performs as well as any tremolo system
In my humble opinion

That's not a healthy attitude, Edward.

... and see, I'm thinking "Who WOULDN'T want a Savoy with a Bigsby? Hmmm... may have to drag ALL the Bigsbys down the hall for a little camera time. What say ye?
Don't sweat it, Chuck...there's probably a last minute bidder lurking out there...

Savoys with Bigsbys are cool.
Slapping down another guy's guitar for sale is NOT cool.

Correct me if I am wrong, but we are all here to appreciate Robin guitars? I thought the basis of this forum was appreciation!
If people want to put down other players guitars go join the Jay Turser forum or some shitty maker like that.
Greg is right, that is NOT COOL. We are not "slapping down" your Robins...oh wait you don't have one.

Somehow I seem to be
in the middle of some drama
here again...
LOL
Funny thing is...
I HAVEN'T BEEN DRINKING!
This is a GREAT guitar...
No two ways about it
& the Bigsby works beautifully
a dab of "Big Bend's Nut Sauce"
& Twang Twang ... I'm off to the races ...
Looks like I came up with the funds
To finish this house I'm building
& pay all my bills this month
So the auction will probably get pulled.
This guitar's becoming sort of
an underdog in the collection.
I need to set something straight
I sold my Gretsch's (2)
All my G&L's (4)
My Fender's (2)
My Gibsons (2)
& my PRS's (3)
all in the last 2 years to build
up my real estate business
I still have my 4 Robin's
& want another built this year.
Get it?
