It's time to let a few go...
First up is a pair of grape Rangers. Both came out of the old Robin factory at the same time. The bass player and I from one of my old bands (The Missiles) had these made for us. The finish is a transparent purple.
The Ranger Custom guitar is a 1992 with tremolo (#921293)– only a very small percentage of Ranger Customs had tremolos. The neck is birdseye maple with a plain maple cap - Robin did not make solid maple necks at this time. Most Ranger necks had a rosewood fretboard. The bridge pickup is a stock Duncan Hot Rails with a push/pull tone pot for coil tapping – I provided the factory with the pickup to put in the guitar. The two other pickups are whatever brand Robin was using at the time.

The Ranger Bass is also from 1992 (#921171). Like the guitars, most Ranger basses had a rosewood fretboard, but this one has a maple neck with a “V” shaped back – probably the only “V” neck Robin ever made for a bass.

Both instruments come with the OHSC. The condition of the guitar is a solid 9.5 out of 10. The bass has been rode a little harder (it traveled all over the world for several years with The Missiles, then later with the Jesse Dayton band) and its condition is about a 7 out of 10.
I would really like to sell them as a pair and I'm offering a deal if you want both. $1400 for the pair + shipping
or
Ranger Custom - $850 + shipping
Ranger Bass - $650 + shipping
The Avalon (#970129) is the very first “Junior” that came out of the factory. Even though the Avalon “Sport” model pre-dates this guitar by a couple of years, the Sport had a humbucker instead of a P-90. In other words, this guitar was the very first P-90 Avalon. The body is made of swamp-ash and it has a tunomatic and stop tailpiece. As a special bonus, the P-90 pickup is from an early 60’s Gibson SG Junior.
This guitar has a fairly large ding/dent. You can see the bare wood in the picture on the front edge down by the output jack. There are also a couple of smaller dings on the body.

Email me directly if you are interested. I can take some more pictures on request. If these don’t sell here on Robinlovers, I’ll be putting them on eBay with a slightly higher Buy It Now price.
