I know it's a Medley... Serial number dates it from 91. It is mahogany with a Flamed Koa top and ivory binding. The neck and headstock also seems to be koa. The fretboard is rosewood with dots, reverse headstock. All the hardware is black. PJ Marx pickups, 1 single rail and 1 humbucker (also rail). It also has a Kahler trem and locking nut.... Does anyone know what it is?? Was it a production model or custom?? What is it worth ??? I am not selling it, just curious. Thanks

My Medley is a 'limited edition' according to the plate on the back of the neck. No serial number on mine. Mahogany body and thru neck with a maple top and the cream colored top binding and reverse headstock. Kahler and locking nut (graphtech oddly enough). Mine was used on e-Bay but in excellent shape and I replaced the 3 EMGs with a JB in the bridge humbucker spot and 2 Kinmans in the middle and neck, plus individual humbucker volume and coil tapped.

Robert,
If you can get a pic of the front and back together I'm sure someone can tell you more about it. You might also look at the www.robinguitars.com "Vintage" section...every catalog they've ever put out is in there and you might find your guitar in a color poster from 1990... Stranger things have happened...

Thanks for the help Smitty..... When I looked at the '92 catalog, I found an almost identical guitar to mine. It was the Tedley Std VI Koa 'Exotic wood special' Koa Neck. The only difference is that mine is in a Medley Body instead of the single cut version...... Any idea what it would be worth or if they made many of them ??? Mine is in perfect shape with no dings , dents or scratches. Thanks for the help. Bob

Hi Robert,
Maybe Dave Wintz will jump in and comment on what it would have been new...
