Savoy wood selection

I own the typical mahogany/maple cap config. Has anybody here played the swamp ash Savoy? What does it sound like compared to mine?

Hey Jon,

I have one of each (See the "Show Us Your Robin" section for a pic of my Swamp Ash)...

Density of the woods will provide more variance in tone than purely type of wood. I haven't spent much time A/B'ing mine, but I find them to be fairly similar... probably get more variance out of 'em by changing the setup on one.
