Methinks it's an Electra; mid-'70s, they had a less-fancy version that had abalone pearl inlays, mini-humbuckers and no leaf carvings (shades of the Guild S-100!). I owned one of those less-fancy ones back then; it had had a neck profile JUST LIKE a Les Paul Deluxe. I had mine modded in '77 by Strings & Things in Memphis (replaced pickups with DiMarzio SDHBs). It was a fine utility piece.

Yep, that indeed appears to be a Japanese Electra. I have a neighbor with the same guitar, he had bought it on Ebay. Electra made these carved-leaf versions of both the Les Paul and the SG back in the 70s.
There were a lot more than 20 made. Think of a number in the thousands.... Value is probably about $600.
