Avalon Tuning issues

I am the proud new owner of an avalon standard! it's amazing but i'm having some issues with the tuning...if i do any bends or play hard the tuning goes all kinds of crazy! i've had it professionally set up all i can think is maybe it's the grover deluxe machine heads?? anyone have the same problem? i could use some help on this one!

It's usually the nut.

not really a Kluson fan, but I have had no probs. from my Avalon herd. Locking Sperzels are nice ...........

Spoke to the guy (xunjie74). He's been using locking tuners for years with virtually no post wraps..didn't know how to string past one wind, etc. I think he understands the process now. We'll see.......

I restrung it how you said to do it and now it's staying in tune!! i'm loving it! now i'm moving on to doing some mods to my wedge!
