I have a Robin Ranger Koa top, which has been an incredible guitar for me to play. It has an ebony board making it incredibly fast. The tone is amazing.
My only question for the Forum has to do with the humbucker in the neck position. I can get this to sound really good by tweaking my EQ, but then when I switch to the other pickups, they're too trebbly. The opposite is true for the strat and tele pickups. When I get the sound just right for those, the humbucker doesn't have the sound I can get out of it otherwise.
Does anyone have a recommendation for me here? Should I consider a different Rio humbucker? I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.
