Like me, nicks and scars lie here and there...
If one's eye is sharp, a slight gap may be espied between the neck and body block, where it might appear that some overly eager Bowie knife-wielding soul might have been at play. It does not seem to afflict the intonation or playability. It is an uneven cut when viewed from the back...
I love the contour of Strats/superstrats, reportedly suggested to Leo Fender by a well-known player/consultant who said that without them, as with Teles, it dug into his ribs... Good call... It's a sexy thing...
Odd that some of the scratches appear to lay beneath the finish, but I am hardpressed to concede that the guitar has ever had a refinish. The scratches seem perhaps a tad white-ish, as if moisture crept there under...
