I found this at a local garage sale. I have no idea what it is or what it is worth??? It does say " made in Houston, Tx. on the back of the headstock. If anyone is interested, it is for sale!!! It does have a flamed neck with a split headstock. It is the "Bugs Bunny" guitar!

Sorry if I'm late. Is that Medley bass still for sale?
Not as awesome as the "Muff Diver" Medley I but in the same league.

was owned by Stevie Blaze of Lillian Axe. A Medley with a stick figure scuba diver "going down", that said, no muff too tuff...
Stolen from JC Guitars. If anyone has seen it, he'd love to know what happened to it!
That's the last I heard, anyway...

I'd be interested in the Bugs Bunny bass if it's still available.
As for the Muff Diver, i saw it on eBay about 5 years ago. The story was, "I have this guitar but now I have kids and my wife won't let me take it out of the case."
That guitar was one of the many Robin Medley I single pickup custom mural paint jobs made in the late eighties/early nineties. I am nostalgic for those axes as that's how I got my start with Robins. I was at a NY guitar show about 15 years ago and there was one of them on the wall. I grabbed it because it was one of the most hideous looking paintjobs I've ever seen (most of them are quite classy). It had a Rhinocerous crashing through a brick wall, but the bricks were more pink than red and the animal looked more like an oyster/vagina. But I played it and it felt like butter. At the time I had a 64 SG Junior I was using as a "travel" guitar so I thought I'd buy this to use as a travel guitar instead as the SG was getting too valuable and I didn't own any other guitar with a maple neck. It was the best $200 I ever spent. Dave Wintz later told me to get rid of that POS Robin pickup and put in something more modern so I replaced it later with a Bastard but I think I liked the original pickup better. That started me on my Robin craze. When the weather gets nicer I'll take a pic of my eight Robins (a lot of Robins for a keyboard player to own) and send it into the group.

Bob!
This guy is so good, he indirectly influenced me to buy an Avalon Sport and a Savoy Custom over the years.
I want to see that picture...let me know when you take it, maybe I can get my 3 in the pic, too.

The other is an old Tokai made Ranger Bass in 2 tone, maple board.
I love Lou. We have ripped it up with our electrics and acoustics many times over the years.
I can call him a dear friend...who FINALLY got a Tele after lusting after my Esquire. He wanted that "Roy Buchanan Sound", and he got it.
