Savoy Pro in a glossy natural finish with maple fretboard---so far the first and only Savoy w/ a maple 'board (and out of curiosity, how many other brands and models come w/ 24 3/4' scale and maple fretboard?). My eyesight's getting worse (just because I'm getting older) and from here on, just about any guitar I get---particularly custom-orders---will probably have a maple 'board w/ black dots....or maybe an ebony 'board w/ big markers and white neck binding w/ black side dots (a la a Les Paul Custom).

The "TigerTwanger"; a Ranger w/ a fakimba body, gold finish w/ purple sparkle 'guard and p/us, and the redoubtable "Mose markers" fretboard inlay.
Details RE aesthetics: Purple and gold are the local school colors (nickname = Tigers) my daughter is graduating this year and this is one of her presents. The sticker is from the Tallassee Athletic Club. #31 is not an athlete's number. Rather, it refers to a writing mentor of mine who died from leukemia in 2005. He was our state legislator (District 31), he served in the Alabama House of Representatives 31 years, and when he was in the National Guard he was in the 31st Division. That unit was activated in 1965 for the Selma-to-Montgomery march (to protect the marchers), and his "day job" was a newscaster on a Montgomery TV channel, so while in uniform he got to see the march from a very unqiue vantage point.
