This one needs those GregWinds we spoke about. Wrap them up. I'll take them. That crappy Les Paul is where the first set went.

So, what's the news?

Came that way from Kenny. It will have a zeeb in the front and dubwhite in the back. Oh, it will have push/pull pots and four conductors........................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .......Like the Kizanski Avalon!!!!!!:D

Well, here's the deal. Uncles Dave and Greg had a telephonic pow wow today.

We are going to start with flat top Artisans, with side contours like a certain guitar but "Robinized". Capsule rings, 22 frets(the original Artisans were 24 fret...), giving us the ability to do 3 pickup Artisans(Ernie and Shark bait). Avalon headstock. Maybe even single P-90s.....(nudge, nudge....wink,wink)

If the demand is there, then carved top Artisans will again stomp the planet flat.

Tell us what you think.

Depending on features......starting below, going as high as you can dream.

I'm thinking vintage ivory/white with a bound rosewood board and headstock. Double crowns and a wrap around. Greg's signature three pickup wiring (a la Ernie's Fleetwood). One push-pull or push/push for the middle pickup on/off and taps for all three pickups using the other three pots. Toasted nickel hardware. An Artisan Custom of sorts.

Be gentle, Greg. It's the "off season"!

Did I see that right? Artisans are back? Good Lord! I just bought a used '02 Gibson SG Supreme, but I'd gladly liquidate it to get an Artisan. I sure like that 3-pickups-with-coil-splits idea too...

Remember....
..the great three pickup Melody Maker SGs from the late sixties. Three singles, whammy.
And please consider TV yellow, too.

I would love to have a American Artisan to play & put next to my original #5 Artisan.
