I think you will be okay, if this storm starts to scoot along and good clip then I have the better chance of getting hit, if it loligags around in the gulf you guys may be in for a wet windy weekend...good luck to us all from Houston, Alvin to Corpus to the RGV!!!

It keeps creeping closer and closer to hitting Freeport on the tracks... that would put it about thirty miles from my house.. and my house will be on the wrong side...

Me and the family are leaving in the morning for Dallas to stay with Jen's parents. Mini vacation for us. Kids are excited. My ten year old son is just happy to be missing out on two days of school.

Guitars are packed up as safe as they can be... should be fine unless direct hit from Tornado...

With us gone, worse that could happen is we have to get a new house and stuff.... it's only stuff!

We are in Mesquite, Texas on the east side of Dallas. Watching the hurricane on the news and it still has the dirty side of the storm aimed straight at Alvin, Texas.

Will be interesting to see how things go. Wife wants a new house, but not this way I think..!
