Hello!

I wanted to take a second and post my Robin Guitar pictures. I'll probably be selling this shortly, but before I do, I wanted to get some feedback on the guitar.

This model is a little different that another Wedge V I've seen. This design has a bolt on neck, and a tremelo system. It has a plate where the neck bolts on and the serial number '850019'. It is painted a metallic pale yellow color and has all black hardware.

I bought this guitar at an auction in Houston in the early 90's because I was a fan of the band. Since that time, the guitar player, Tim Kelly, has died. He played a few different Robin Guitars, and I seem to remember a memorial to him on the Robin Guitar website a while back.

Anyway, please feel free to post comments or help enlighten me about this guitar a bit more. I really don't know much about it.

Thanks,
James

You have a 1985-ish "Wedge Standard" with vintage tremolo. The Wedges with set necks are "Wedge Customs". In addition to the set neck, the Customs had Wedge shaped inlays on an Ebony fingerboard and a bound neck and headstock. Customs had the choice of a hard tailpiece/bridge or a Kahler. Standards could choose from vintage trem or the Kahler. Pic is of the Custom I just purchased. You have a cool piece of history there!
