Tell me about this Medley I just got

Word is that it's an '89, but I'm unsure... according to the silver sticker, the serial is 098077, but it's got another black stamped number as well... that one reads X21186 (The "X" isn't an X, I just can't read it, it could be a 9)

She's a bit of a project, but I think she's worth the time and money.

It's a 1992 Medley VI. The 186th guitar made that year.

It is an unusual guitar because it does not have a locking tremolo. Also, they probably made more Medley II's, III's, and IV's.

Thanks for the welcome... and yes I've been chasing it... for the last six years... a good friend of mind owned it for the last decade... and I've been on him the whole time because he's got MANY guitars and it's not been his main player for quite some time...or his backup for that matter.

...finally he relented and let me take the thing from him

...it was basically a trade ...I got the guitar and an old Mosvalve MV962 poweramp ...he got my PODxt Live to run as a super FX pedal with his new Krankenstein head. (I really didn't like the POD anyway)

god... I just love the way the neck lights up...

and... in the event you're interested in the type of music I'm most likely to make with this here geetar... you might check out the stuff I've recorded by myself here in this basement O mine...

Note... if you hear shredding on anything, I didn't do it... I got ringers for that purpose... I'm more the songwriter/vocalist/rhythm guitarist/producer type.
