Hello, all.

I was looking for some information the other day about an old Robin bass I used to have and ran across this forum.

I got this bass sometime around 1982 at Rockin Robin in Houston. It had a P-bass type 2-color sunburst body with a highly flamed maple tele-bass style neck/peghead on it. It had a gold anodized pickguard on it. The decal on the peghead said "Robin" in gold spaghetti-style lettering with the words "Original Recipe" on it.

Unfortunately, a few years later I had to put it up for adoption at the local consignment store here in Austin. I had heard that Keith Ferguson, formerly of the Fabulous T-Birds was interested in it before he died, but the store went out of business before I got paid or could retrieve the bass.

So, I was just curious as to the story behind the "original recipe" instruments. Does anybody have a clue as to what something like this would be worth today?
